Training Course Bookings
By booking a place on a Deep Pressure Touch training course, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Bookings & Payment
Places on our training courses are limited to ensure that all participants receive appropriate support, practical training and course materials. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received.
Course fees include training, course materials and certification where applicable.
Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
Cancellations made within 14 days of booking will receive a full refund, subject to any statutory rights that apply to your booking.
After this period, course fees are generally non-refundable, as places are limited and we begin preparing training materials, resources and course arrangements in advance of the training date.
However, if you are unable to attend, please get in touch. Where possible, we are happy to transfer your booking to another colleague, member of your organisation or another suitable person. Any replacement attendee should be notified to us in advance and may be required to provide relevant booking information.
We will always aim to work with you where circumstances allow.
Deep Pressure Touch Training – Authorisation, Use of Programme & Training Restrictions
Training is provided on an individual basis and does not confer any right or authority to train, instruct, demonstrate or certify any other person in Deep Pressure Touch.
Completion of the Deep Pressure Touch Training authorises the named individual participant only to use the Deep Pressure Touch Programme in accordance with the training received and the programme guidance provided. The training, certificate and programme materials are not transferable and do not constitute a licence or permission for the participant to train colleagues, employees, parents, carers, service users or any other third party.
Participants and organisations must not reproduce, copy, adapt, distribute, share or make available the Deep Pressure Touch Programme, training materials, manuals or other proprietary training content for the purpose of providing training to another person without the prior written permission of Deep Pressure Touch. Copyright protection may apply to original training materials and other written content, and unauthorised copying or distribution may infringe those rights.
Where an organisation requires multiple members of staff to use the programme, each individual must complete the appropriate Deep Pressure Touch Training, unless alternative written arrangements have been agreed with Deep Pressure Touch. Organisations requiring training for a larger team should contact us to discuss arranging a dedicated organisational training session.
Unauthorised cascading, reproduction, distribution or delivery of Deep Pressure Touch training may constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions and/or infringement of our intellectual property rights. Where we reasonably believe that a participant or organisation has breached these conditions, we reserve the right, subject to applicable law, to withdraw or revoke that individual's training authorisation and/or certificate, require the cessation of unauthorised use or delivery of the programme, withdraw access to programme materials, and take appropriate further action to protect our intellectual property and the integrity of the programme.
Any withdrawal or revocation of training authorisation does not affect any rights or remedies available to either party under applicable law.
By booking and attending the training, the participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these conditions.
Changes to Training Dates
In the unlikely event that we need to change or cancel a training course, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide appropriate options, which may include transferring your booking to an alternative date or receiving a refund.
Course Attendance
Participants are expected to attend for the full duration of the training and to take part in the practical elements of the course where appropriate.
Deep Pressure Touch training is intended to provide education, practical skills and guidance. Participants are responsible for applying their learning appropriately within their own professional, educational or home setting and in accordance with relevant policies, consent procedures and safeguarding requirements.
General
We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to your booking will be those in place at the time of purchase.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Our services will be provided with reasonable care and skill, as required by law.
